Volvo construction equipment is highly regarded within the industry, it‘s premium price point reflected in the quality and reliability of it’s product.
We were tasked with creating an adaptable platform that would work not only in Europe, with it’s single dealer network, but also in North America, where a dealer may also stock direct competitors such as John Deere and Caterpillar. The platform needed to offer concise information, rich content and comparisons and, crucially, a direct push to dealer.
The actual content was not only targetting the fleet manager, or owner, but also the operators, key influencers in this sector. Subsequently, the 3 key points of each piece of equipment were surfaced first, making content scannable, then other factors to consider shown in graphic and video form.
Each page is created from specific modules, to allow flexibility across the afore mentioned markets, but, if used as specified, the page creates a classic ‘sales funnel’.
The platform is yet to roll out globally, with some initial tests being carried out in North America.
