AHD / GLÜcklichding
Glücklichding Ice Cream Truck
Identity proposal for an Ice Cream pop up. Focussing on events, the brand needed to adapt to different environments, from Germany’s largest outdoor rock festival to Summer fairs on the Baltic Sea.
AHD / ANTIPODES CAFE
Anaphylactic Shock Peanut Butter
Visual identity for Berlin’s premier NZ coffee shop’s (sadly no more) own brand Peanut Butter. As per the owners, this one was set to divide.
AHD / TORTUGA CYCLES
Slowcial
Berlin’s premier purveyor of Surly bicycles, Tortuga Cycles, have become friends of mine. Mainly as they let me make cool stuff for them. And they’re nice. And they sell Surly bikes.
I’ve created a lot of material to promote their #slowcial rides, the TAF team and for special events.
AHD / FLIP VINTAGE
Flip Vintage Est. 1978
Genuine happy place. I’ve been visiting Flip Vintage since I was 18 years old… And now I’m creating some patches with them. I’m rather happy about this.
AHD / JACS
Much Needed Morale Patches
JACS was a veteran run company making military grade modular baby and equipment carriers.
A lot of their clientele were ex or indeed, still active, service members, so the morale patches became a bit of a military / video game / movie nerd-fest, i.e. enormous fun.
‘First Born’ is based upon the airborne insignia, ‘Embrace the suck’ being a visual play on the military expression, ‘Dadpool’ a hopefully obvious one and finally ‘Minimi’ a joke based upon the FN Minimi machine gun.
AHD / JESSILYN AND NEIL CALDERWOOD
Jessilyn & Neil’s Wedding
Jessilyn and Neil are big into bikes. Riding across South Korea, Vietnam and Ireland on a tandem big. They’re also big into Baldrick, their Jack Russell Terrier. I mean, is there a better kick off than that?
AHD / LOCAL HERO
Local Hero Lettering
Brush drawn lettering, cleaned up in Procreate for local hero, a film production company. The lettering formed the basis of their brand identity.
