CHALLENGE
With over 30 years of experience and 50 plus technical consultants, Ultima faced the dichotomy of long established AND cutting edge. They needed to be seen as progressive and contemporary, but also established and subsequently trustworthy.
The Ultima offering is also complex, combining their unparalleled technical expertise with cutting edge automation and AI solutions across multiple fields.
All of this at the beginning of a pandemic, which was not only forcing the agency to look at how they were working internally but also their external work from home offering.
SOLUTION
A ground up re-design, UX and build of the current platform.
The offering was re-categorised, expertise surfaced through the Lab and the content hub sections, and the brand given a freshen up.
Photography was scaled back, which such specific technological offerings as machine learning and automation, a more abstract approach was taken with hand drawn elements and textures created to convey complex messaging.
The overall structure is modular and concise. Information is dissected into small, easy to digest chunks and flows.
Content repositories were created and structured and finally a design system for future additions and development.
