90% of buyers research their purchases online before even visiting a dealership, 72% of buyers have already decided on a brand and 49% a model before even visiting a dealer.

Furthermore, with dealer visits, pre-purchase, dropping from 7 to 1, manufacturers need to rapidly transform their business processes to meet these new behaviours.

Hyundai looked to transform themselves to better serve their customer’s needs with the addition of direct buy and financing services on their platform.

Solution

With their click to buy initiative in progress, we streamlined the decision making process with a fully integrated configuration and finance solution.

With users often leaving, then returning to the cycle, the process needed to be smart, intuitive and shareable. Reevoo was also integrated into the site to support the process.

A full UX approach was designed and passed through testing, before embarking on a full visual re-design and creation of a design system that could also be rolled out to other areas of the site.
